Happy February! Boy, did it come fast!! Below you will find the Heritage Ward Relief Society presidency message and happenings for this month. Also, see our monthly sister spotlight below. This month is about Calista Airhart!
Presidency Message
Last week, I was explaining to someone not of our faith about my calling and our ministering program. When I used the term “ministering” to explain what we women do for each other, it hit me in a way that it never had before. We really are ministers! By the very definition of the word, we are literal ministers in Christ’s church. And, this has been true from the very beginning of the Restoration. Ever since then, we women have run programs, we have presided, we have taught, we have preached to our congregations, we have counseled with each other and with priesthood leaders. We have shared the Gospel. We have gone on missions. We have shared our time, talent and immeasurable influence to building up the Lord’s Kingdom for over 200 years. What an amazing history of commitment to our faith! And, I can’t thank the Lord enough for letting me be a part of it with all of you. – Lauren

To find our RS lessons for the month go to the homepage on your LDS Tools app and scroll down to “Relief Society Lesson”. Please note, however, this month due to Stake Conference there will only be one RS Sunday – Feb 25th.
