- Choir practice will be held at 1:30 PM today at the Pray’s house

- Seminary Kick Off will be on tonight at 7:00 PM at the Stake Center
- The first day of Seminary will be Monday, August 28th
- Young Women Activity this Wednesday:
- All YW Combined – Vision Boards at the church at 7:00 PM
- Bring any art supplies you would like to use (magazines, crazy scissors, tapes, glitter glue, etc).
- Poster boards, glue, and markers will be provided.

- Young Men Activities this Wednesday:
- Priests – Meet at the Becker’s house at 6:30 PM for some service work
- Teachers – Meet at Central High at 5:30 PM to watch Deacon’s football game
- Please bring money for a ticket ($4 adults/$2 students)
- Deacons – Back to School party with movie, pizza, and games at the Chandler’s house at 7:00 PM
- September is our ward’s final opportunity to clean the church this year. Please sign up using the link below for a Saturday cleaning assignment during the month of September.
- Ward Temple Day – September 9th – 6:00 PM endowment session

- Stake Service Project – September 11th at 6:00 PM
- The Stake will be hosting an event for September 11th National Day of Service. We plan to assemble hygiene kits for two organizations:
- Rio Valley Relief Project (which services Refugees)
- Cook Children’s Hospital (to help the families of children in emergency care)
- Additional donations can be brought on the day of the event (there will be a donation box outside the church starting at 11:00am that morning)
- The Stake will be hosting an event for September 11th National Day of Service. We plan to assemble hygiene kits for two organizations:
- General Conference will be on September 30th and October 1st
- Fast Sunday for October will be on October 8th, due to General Conference
- The North Texas YSA Conference will be held October 13th-15th
