Youth Conference is coming up fast and the Stake needs help to make this successful! Please see below for more details. We appreciate any and all help!
- All Youth attending Youth Conference need to download the “FamilySearch Tree” app onto their phones and make sure they can login. They will also need to have their parents, grandparents, etc attached on their account until they are linked to deceased ancestors. If they do not know how to download the app, need help learning how to login, or attaching relatives, we hope they will reach out for assistance from the Ward Temple and Family History Consultants (Mark and Sherri Warnick). This task is very important and will greatly enhance their family history experience.
- Youth have the opportunity to participate in the Stake Youth Conference Choir. Practices will be held on March 12th and 19th with additional practices into the weekend of youth conference. Please see attached flyer for more details if interested.
- Stake Youth Conference Service Opportunities
- Youth Conference is right around the corner, and we would love any help providing the following items. Drop off donations at Ruth Brann’s house (9609 Sam Bass Trail, Fort Worth, 76244) or contact Ruth to arrange a pick up (817-791-6511). We need all donations received no later than Sunday March 19. Your support for our youth is greatly appreciated!!!
- There will be one class offsite on Saturday. We just have too many kids to fit into the Stake Center for everything! We will need to transport 40-45 kids to the Butler home, about 1/2 mile from the Stake Center. Drivers are welcome to come for the whole day or do the morning shift from 9:30-12:20, or the afternoon shift from 1:30-5:20. We will feed them snacks and lunch/dinner. If you are willing to help out, please reach out to Aubrey Gee (jonandaubrey@gmail.com) to let her know. Be sure to include how many seats you have available in your car.
