We recently completed the temple prep classes with our son, Thomas, as he has been preparing to receive his own endowment. Brothers Schoonmaker and Jensen did such a wonderful job of teaching and helping us to understand the importance of the covenants Thomas was about to make. We really loved how they incorporated lessons about the ancient temple and the plan of salvation and how it all points to the Savior as our Redeemer.
We have been attending the temple for 30 years, and are still learning. These classes have taught us even more and have enriched our temple experience. We are grateful for the spirit that was always present in our lessons. The temple prep classes have strengthened our testimony of the significance of the work that goes on in the temples and has helped us feel an added measure of God’s love for us and for all of his children.
